“My cup runneth over & all over the floor” depicts us; it’s messy but we live an abundant life (to overflowing)! This blog was created for me by my husband as a “gentle” nudge to record God’s faithfulness. We’ve been in full time student ministry for over a decade and are enormously blessed with four kids.

I’m a mom, foster parent (we finalized the adoption of our youngest Oct. 2012), pastor’s wife, and I use my elementary ed. degree every day but not in a classroom and not for a paycheck.
I’m passionate about coffee, journal, Bible infused quiet time, teaching in various forms, thought provoking conversation (preferably on a porch, patio, or walk and better if it includes mocha or cigars), God’s grace & Truth, growing things (be it vegetables, a writing project, or children), sarcasm, story-telling, cousins, the Pacific Northwest, and seeing kids coming out of trauma find healing.
I’m against spelling things wrong to be cute or catchy, against cats, against jokes (passionate about humor but against “what do you get when you cross” “knock knock” kind of nonsense), victimization (including myself- I detest catching myself in self-pity), and bad hygiene (Including staying in pajamas all day. Even if I’m sick. Sorry, just can’t do it.)
